These terms set out how we work together, what you can expect from us, and your right to cancel and receive a refund.
Last updated: 28 June 2026
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") apply to all services provided by DEVGENIUS LTD ("we", "us", "our") to our clients ("you"). By submitting a request or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.
DEVGENIUS LTD is a programming and web development company. Our registered office is 20 Wenlock Road, London, England, N1 7GU. You can reach us at support@devgenius.co.uk.
We provide website design and development, software engineering, e-commerce, UI/UX design, maintenance and related digital services. The exact scope of any project is agreed in writing between you and us before work begins.
Submitting the request form on our website is an enquiry, not a binding order. We will respond with a proposal, timeline and quote. Quotes are estimates based on the information you provide and may change if the scope of work changes. A binding agreement is formed only once both parties confirm the scope and price in writing.
Payment terms, including any deposit and instalment schedule, are set out in your individual proposal. Unless agreed otherwise, invoices are payable within the period stated on the invoice. We will always be transparent about costs — there are no hidden fees.
You may cancel your request or project at any time, for any reason. To cancel, simply notify us in writing at support@devgenius.co.uk. Once we receive your notice, we will stop work straight away.
There is no penalty or cancellation fee for ending a project. Where consumer cancellation rights apply under UK law, those rights apply in addition to the rights set out here, whichever is more favourable to you.
If you cancel, any amount you have paid for work that has not yet been delivered will be refunded to you in full (cash-back).
If you are not satisfied with work we have delivered, contact us and we will work to put it right. Where we cannot, you may be entitled to a partial or full refund for the affected work. Refunds are issued to the original payment method, normally within 14 days of agreeing the amount.
Unless agreed otherwise in writing, ownership of the final deliverables transfers to you once they have been paid for in full. We may retain ownership of any pre-existing tools, libraries or components we use to build your project, and we may showcase the finished work in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.
We will provide our services with reasonable care and skill. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. These Terms do not affect your statutory rights.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
